Joe S Folsom of Salina, OK passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at his home. He was born on December 8, 1952, to Robert and Mary Folsom, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Graduating from Stilwell High School and Northeastern State University, he was a history and social studies teacher in the public school system for 32 years. Most of his years teaching were spent at Salina High School where he was also a junior high basketball coach. 

He loved enjoying a good meal with his family and friends, playing golf, listening to Rock and Blues music, watching Cardinals baseball and OU football, and appreciating a decent Scotch whiskey. 

He is survived by his children Jason, Matt, and Robert Folsom. He is preceded in death by parents Robert and Mary Folsom, sister Betty Vondy, and brother Michael Folsom. He is deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
