John Jones

John Thomas Jones Jr, 56 of Tahlequah, passed away on September 19, 2016 in Tahlequah. He was born January 18, 1960 in Fairfax, Ok; the son of John Thomas Jones Sr. and Evelyn (Firestone) Jones. He was a former employer at Vemeer in Pella, Iowa and was a machine operator, then in 2015 came back to Oklahoma to be with his family. John enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. John also had a special love for Nascar and the Seattle Seahawks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his niece, Tamara Lord and husband Charley of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Jateena Perry of California, Anita Williams of Tahlequah; aunt, Martha Denny and husband Doug of Tahlequah. Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelyn Jones; sister, Donna Stapp; grandmother, Ruby Harper and great grandparents Joseph and Louisa Rowe.
