Johnny Lee Monsey, a man of strength and integrity, was born on July 14, 1950, Marlow, Oklahoma. His unwavering dedication to excellence was exemplified through his esteemed career as the owner and operator of Monsey Construction Company for many years. Johnny's warmth touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He possessed a remarkable charm and never met a stranger; his genuine love for people shone brightly in every interaction. On March 12, 1971, Johnny embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship as he exchanged vows with his beloved partner in Marlow, Oklahoma. Outside of his professional endeavors, Johnny found peace in the simple joys of life. He looked forward to going fishing and spending time on the water. Johnny also took immense delight in attending his grandchildren's school and sporting events, cherishing each moment spent cheering them on from the sidelines. Johnny Lee Monsey departed from this world on May 16, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy that will endure through generations.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christi Monsey of the home; son, Justin Monsey and wife Tara of Claremore, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Rylee, Colton and Laker Monsey of Claremore, Oklahoma; sisters, Lana Belcher and husband Greg of Marlow, Oklahoma and Carolyn Langerlaan of North Richmond Hills, Texas; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Ruby (Bell) Monsey.
