Joshua Curtis

Joshua Duchovny Curtis, 19, of Pryor, passed away on April 27, 2019 in Tulsa. He was born on September 14, 1999 in Sedalia, Missouri; the son of James Hughes and Kathleen Brewer. Joshua attended Pryor Public Schools. He worked at Pizza Hut in Pryor and enjoyed meeting new people that came through the restaurant. He also attended Kuk Sool Won Martial Arts in Pryor. He also loved to read and play video games. He was full of smiles and loved life. He leaves this world much to soon and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the First Church of God in Pryor with Reverend Derek Melton officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Joshua is survived by his mother, Kathleen Brewer and husband Ray of Pryor; father, James Hughes of Dallas, Texas; sister, Kara Brewer of Pryor, Oklahoma; step sister, Arachelle Brewer of New York City; brother, J.A. “Elizabeth” Curtis of Tucson, Arizona; step brother, James Brewer and wife Cheyenne of Norman, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Curtis.
