Karen Ann (Baysinger) Sutterfield, 56, passed away on October, 8, 2022 in Fairview, Oklahoma.  Karen was born on June 25, 1966 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Kenneth E. Baysinger Sr. and Marcia E. (Kokoszka) Baysinger. She married Joe Sutterfield on July 12, 2014, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Karen loved country music, especially Kenny Chesney. Karen enjoyed being outdoors with her dogs, horses, and goats. She worked for many years as a dental assistant before retiring. Most of all, she loved her family, especially the time she was able to spend with her kids and grandkids. Karen leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10 a.m. in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clayton Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Hogan Cemetery with Corey Anderson, Ken Baysinger Jr., Brandon Childress and Josh Gardenhire as honorary casket bearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Karen’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joe of the home; daughter, Tara (Anderson) Gardenhire and husband, Josh of Fairview, OK; son, Corey A. Anderson and wife, Taryn of Mounds, OK; bonus daughters, Lacie Frazier and Aubrey Stroman; her mother, Marcia Baysinger of Locust Grove, OK; brother, Ken Baysinger Jr. and wife Julie of Locust Grove, OK; four grandsons, Javin, Jaxon, Jayden and Gavin;  one granddaughter, Sutter; many other relatives and friends; and her favorite little loves, her pets. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Baysinger, Sr.; sister, Denise M. Baysinger; grandparents, uncles and aunts.
