Kathy C. Miller, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with health issues. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of Jesus.
Kathy was born in 1950 to Ronald Lundahl and Patty June Cassady. She was also lovingly raised by her stepfather, Virgil Cassady.
She retired from MCI Telephone Company in 2004 after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, Kathy enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers, working crossword puzzles, watching crime shows, and celebrating her lifelong love of Elvis Presley. And watching and talking about her favorite NFL team the chiefs and her favorite thing talking about her grandkids
Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Vaughn Miller III; her mother, Patty June Cassady; her father, Ronald Lundahl; and her sister, Bobbie June Stewart. As well as her stepfather Virgil Cassady.
She is lovingly survived by her daughter Romi Giltner and husband Terry of Chouteau, OK; brother, Ronnie Cassady and Johnna Cassady-Wald of Joplin, MO; and her sister, Donna Chaddock and husband Pat of Wichita, KS. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Nick Giltner and wife, Michaela, and their daughter, Wren; Kortney Giltner & her fiancé Bruce Chamberlain Kadyn and Justin Puthoff and their son, Banks; Cody Miller; Reilly and Chance Brandt and their son, Sawyer; and Kylen Miller. 2 more precious great grandchildren are on the way.
