Lacy Gene Hair

Lacy Gene Hair, known for his warm personality and love for family, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76.  He was born on August 22, 1947, in Tahlequah Oklahoma, to Tecumseh and Senia Hair. 
 
 Throughout his life, Lacy enjoyed a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed watching westerns and football, particularly the Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers, and the Dallas Cowboys. He liked to attend gospel singings, the races, and the gigging tournament. One of his favorite pastimes was engaging in games of marbles, dominoes, and poker. Lacy was also known for his infectious sense of humor and a knack for always telling jokes. 
 
 Above all else, Lacy cherished moments spent with his family and took special delight in visits with his great granddaughter.
 
 Lacy is preceded in death by his parents, Tecumseh and Senia (Davis) Hair; his wife, Lorene Hair; brothers Marvin Hair, James Hair, and Danny Hair; as well as nephew Stevie Hair; along with other relatives and friends who have passed before him.
 
 He is survived by his daughter Vivian Hair of Salina, OK; grandchildren Drew Easky and Anjelina, and Tricia Easky; great granddaughter, Constance Easky; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
 
 A funeral service for Lacy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Blue Springs Church with Reverend Duke Pickup officiating. Burial will follow at Euwasha Cemetery with Drew Easky, Dakota Vann, Walus Hair, Epifanio Bocanegra, Eddie Pickup, and Matt Daniels. Honorary casket bearers include his nephews and host of friends. A wake service will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor.
