Larry Rose

Larry Ray Rose, 65 of Peggs, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.  He was born on December 7, 1955 in Oklahoma City; the son of Harvey Rose, Sr. and Bobbie Ruth (Miller) Orque.  Larry had fought a great fight to the end.  He was devoted to his family.  One of his greatest joys was being a big brother to his younger sisters and he took that job seriously and was very protective.  Larry is a veteran of the United State Army.  His experience in the Army played a very important role in his life.  Larry enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.

Larry is survived by his son Tim Rose and wife April of California; step-mother Shirley Rose of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; brothers, Jerry Rose of Oregon House, California and John Rose and wife Stephanie of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sisters, Judy Carr and husband Leon Carr of California; Robin Rose of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; Tana (Rose) Hendrickson and husband Darrell of Peggs, Oklahoma and Tina (Rose) Medlock of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Brittney, Damian and Braedon Van Mater of Oregon; nieces and nephews, Misty Murkle, Christina Betz, Rachel Betz, Jenny Warner, Travis Rose, Sara McCoy, Lisa Emana, Shannon Rose and David Roush; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Rose, Sr. and Bobbie Ruth (Miller) Orque; his brothers Harvey Rose, Jr. and Ronnie Rose; sister Deborah Rose and daughter Anita (Rose) Van Mater.
