Leon (Lonnie) Steven Quinn, born on June 16, 1946, in Salina, Oklahoma, departed this life on July 24, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a beloved figure, known for his warmth, humor, and dedication to his family.
Leon, affectionately remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, married the love of his life, Mohona Reynolds, on April 3, 1988, in Salina, OK. Together, they built a life filled with joy and laughter. Leon's passions included hunting and fishing, activities he cherished not only for the thrill but also for the quality time spent with his family and friends. He was also a lover of birds and westerns.
An accomplished pool player, Leon was also known for his playful nature and his ability to bring a smile to the faces of those around him. He was a jokester at heart, always ready with a joke or a funny story to brighten the day. His legacy lives on through the love he shared with his family and the countless memories created during their time together.
Leon is survived by his devoted wife, Mohona Quinn, of the home; his son, Leon Quinn, and wife Rose of Salina, OK; his daughters, Misty Quinn, Lucinda Goins and husband Terry, all of Salina, OK, and Denna Evans and husband Toy of Miami, OK; his brother, Richard Quinn, and wife Carrie of Salina, OK; as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Leon Steven Quinn will be deeply missed by all who knew him, as he leaves behind a legacy rich in love, laughter, and cherished moments. His spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of his family and friends.
