Linda Jean Graves, 78, of Strang, Oklahoma, passed away surrounded by her family and friends at her home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born on January 15, 1948, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Harry and Naomi (Taylor) Jerow.

Linda met the love of her life, Jerry Graves, over Memorial Day weekend in 1993. Their love quickly blossomed, and they were united in marriage on December 27, 1993, at Adair First Baptist Church. Together they built a wonderful life on their farm, where they enjoyed raising horses, cattle, and dogs.

From an early age, Linda had a deep love and admiration for horses. She especially enjoyed participating in team sorting and team penning, and some of her happiest moments were spent in the company of horses and fellow horse enthusiasts. She also cherished gathering with family and friends, especially for fish fry's, creating countless memories filled with laughter and fellowship. Linda had a special appreciation for the beauty of magnolia trees, which reflected her gentle spirit and love of nature.

Above all, Linda treasured the people she loved. Whether spending time with family, visiting with friends, or enjoying life on the farm, she found joy in the simple blessings of life and the relationships she held dear. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of the outdoors, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Naomi (Taylor) Jerow, and her mother-in-law, Sharon Graves.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Graves of the home; her sister, Bambi Corwin and husband Tim of Mansfield, Ohio; her brother, Don Jerow and wife Gail of Parker, Colorado; her father-in-law, Tom Graves of Adair, Oklahoma; her brother-in-law, Jim Graves and wife Carrie of Adair, Oklahoma; her nephews, Givin Corwin and Avery Corwin, both of Mansfield, Ohio; along with many other relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

Linda's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family, friends, and the life she built alongside Jerry will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
