Lissa Nicole Hamm, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on December 27, 2025, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Born on August 17, 1996, in Pryor, Oklahoma, she illuminated the lives of everyone around her with her vibrant spirit and warmth.
Lissa was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the great outdoors, often spending her time camping, hunting and fishing. Her love for nature extended beyond just these hobbies; it was deeply rooted in her character. She also cherished the quiet moments spent reading and expressing herself creatively through painting. Above all, Lissa treasured the moments shared with her daughters, Brayleigh and Hadley, whom she proudly called her greatest accomplishments.
Family played a central role in Lissa's life. She is survived by her loving parents, Franklin Hamm and Jayme (McBride) Hamm. Lissa's bond with her daughters was profound, and her legacy will undoubtedly live on through them. She is also survived by her brother Caleb Hamm and sister-in-law Madison of Rose, OK, as well as her sister Elizabeth Bowers of Rose, OK. Lissa had a close-knit relationship with her extended family, including her uncle Wesley Hamm and his wife Natasha of Locust Grove, OK, her aunt Jimmie, husband Mike, and their daughter Britney of Ardmore, OK, her great uncles Kerry and David Hamm both of Cove, AR, and her great aunt Jennie Merrick also of Cove, AR.
Lissa is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Carolyn Hamm and Judy McBride, along with her great-granny Lucille Blair and great-grandpa Russel Blair. She also mourned the loss of her uncle Roger Blair. Each of these figures in her life helped shape the remarkable woman she became.
Above all, Lissa's legacy will be defined by the love she showed to her family and friends, the compassion she exhibited for animals through her rescue efforts, and the joy she shared with those lucky enough to know her. As her family and friends remember her, they will carry forward the light she brought into their lives.
