Lois Dawson

Lois Jean Dawson, 76, of Chouteau, passed from this life on December 13, 2021 at her home. She was born August 8, 1945 in Vinita, OK; the daughter of George Shaffer and Norma (Moyer) Shaffer. Lois was a resident of Chouteau for the past 26 years. She enjoyed working in yard and flowers. She loved cooking and working with her hands doing crafts. She graduated from McClain High School in Tulsa. Lois will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by her sons; Robert McAhren and Jay McAhren; daughter Neesa Cox, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Larry Shaffer and Doug Crawford. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, George and Norma Shaffer; husband Larry Ray Dawson, and brother, Richard Shaffer.
