Lois Polkow

Lois June Polkow, 92, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born on May 24, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois; the daughter of Earl Boorman and Martha (Darga) Boorman. Lois was a housewife for most of her life and was married to the love of her life, Christian Charles James Polkow, for many years until his passing. Together, they volunteered in the Mended Hearts Program for over 25 years. She also enjoyed reading and going on 2 to 3 mile walks almost daily. In her later years at the assisted living, she enjoyed making costume jewelry. She leaves behind many memories for her loved ones to cherish.

Lois is survived by her nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Martha; husband, Christian; and brother, Earl Boorman, Jr.
