Lucian Wayne Lyman

Lucian Wayne Lyman, born on October 20, 1979, in Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 44. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Lucian had a humble and kind-hearted nature that touched the lives of many. He always extended a helping hand to those in need and had a genuine love for helping others. 

In his early years, Lucian attended Kenwood school and later went on to Salina High School where he enjoyed playing basketball. One of Lucian's favorite pastimes was being outdoors. During the summertime, he could often be found hunting crawdads. He also enjoyed working on cars and fixing them up.

Family and friends held an essential place in Lucian's heart. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and enjoyed their presence. Gathering together, sharing stories and laughter made him happy. Lucian also liked attending church services at Standing Rock Baptist Church.

Above all else, Lucian's proudest accomplishment was his family, especially his kids. 

Lucian is preceded in death by his brother Randall Wickliffe; grandparents Louie Lyman and Agnes Budder; as well as his aunts Eldean Lyman and Henryetta Lyman. 

Lucian leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his sons, Brent Lyman and Bryce Lyman, of Salina, OK; daughter, Brianna Lyman of Kenwood; mother, Lillie Lyman of Salina, OK; and brother, Craig Wickliffe of Colcord, OK. Additionally, he is survived by many other relatives and friends who were touched by his kindness and compassion throughout his life.

Funeral services for Lucian will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Budder and Raymond Snell officiating. Burial will follow at Euwasha Cemetery with Marvin Budder, Arlen Favinger, Glen Buffington, Jerry Tagg, Martin Blossom, Daryle Budder, and Mark Proctor serving as casket bearers. Jamison Hair will serve as the honorary casket bearer. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2024, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor.
