Lyle Bierig

Lyle Dwight Bierig, 76, of Pryor, passed from this life on December 28, 2021 in Chouteau. He was born on November 12, 1945 in San Diego, California; the son of Bob and Vada (Nightengale) Bierig. He was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Locust Grove and enjoyed attending church there. He proudly served his country in the Navy for 10 years. He graduated from OSU Okmulgee Tech as a Jewelry and Watchmaker. He enjoyed working in the field and making various types of jewelry. He retired from Boeing and worked many years as a Designer 3 in the Electricians Department. He loved aviation and old classic cars. He leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at The Lighthouse Assembly Church in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Marsha of the home; son, Mark Bierig and wife Bethany of Lego Vista, Texas; daughters, Michael Bierig of Tenaha, Texas, and Liesha Pumont of Houston, Texas; brothers, Wesley Bierig of Salina, Kansas, and Owen Bierig and wife Kim of Hunter, OK; sister, Jana and Howard McDaniels of Wichita, Kansas; three grandsons, Andrew Bierig of Texas, Malcom Pumont of France and Corey Pumont of France; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Vada Bierig.
