Mack Haskell Rainwater, 89, of Claremore, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 22, 1932 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of Glen Haskell and Angie Lily (Sharp) Rainwater. He married Joyce Dean McClellan and they have spent almost 50 years of marriage together. He worked in construction most of his life and later in life, went to work for the water department for the City of Claremore, retiring on January 2, 2007. He loved listening to bluegrass music, music and enjoyed playing the mandolin. Mack also had a special love for classic cars and tinkering around the house. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation services will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. A private family burial will be held in the Graham Memorial Cemetery. Mack is survived by his wife, Joyce Rainwater of the home; and several children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Angie Rainwater, son, John Rainwater, and brother, Leon Rainwater.
