Manfred Konstantine Charles

Manfred Konstantine Charles, age 65, of Bronx, NY, passed away on May 19, 2024. He was born on February 16, 1959 in Erlangen, Germany. He was known for his playful sense of humor, generous nature, and kind heart, Manfred will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His jovial spirit brought joy to countless individuals, and his acts of kindness left an indelible mark on the community. He also had a passion for travel and exploring new cuisines. His adventurous spirit led him to various corners of the world, where he indulged in culinary delights and embraced diverse cultures. Furthermore, he was actively involved in his church, where he found solace and community.

Manfred is survived by his mother, Sigrid Charles; brothers, Erich H. Charles and partner Tracie Smallwood, and Deiter Charles; nephews, Justin Charles, Eric Charles, Shane Charles, and Derek Charles; great-nephews, Lincoln Charles and Emerson Charles; and great-niece, Skye Charles. He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Charles; aunts, Shirley Layman and Mary Sue Charles; uncle, Tom Charles; grandparents, Hugo and Paulina Jakel, Elmo and Roxy Charles, and Albert and Lura Lee.
