Margylain O'Banion

Margylain 'Mozelle' O'Banion, 72, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Margylain was born on April 7, 1938 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Owens and Dulsa Mae (Collins) Owens. She married Linley Niel O'Banion. Margylain was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life making a home for her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salina. Margylain ran the Election Board in Salina for many years. She was an exceptional seamstress and enjoyed keeping a beautiful yard. To her grandchildren she was memaw to ten and momo to one. Margylain loved her Lord and her family. She will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Salina with Reverend Bobby Belew officiating. Interment will be in the Ross-Mayes Cemetery in Salina with Jerry Herrington, Jack Hood, Charles R. Griffin, Nicholas Ritchie, Nathan Neighbors and Brandon Neighbors serving as casket bearers. Griffin of Pryor, OK, Sean Ritchie and wife, Tina, of Jacksonville, FL, Brandon Neighbors and wife, Bekah of Oologah, OK, Nicholas Ritchie of Wakita, OK, Johnathon O'Banion of Wakita, OK, Nathan Neighbors of Wakita, OK, Kimberly O'Banion of Collinsville, OK and Justin O'Banion of Collinsville, OK; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linley Neil O'Banion in 2006; her sons, Carl Dean Hurley, Jr. and Larry Neil O'Banion; Daughter, Tina Marie Neighbors; parents, John and Dulsa Owens; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
