Mari Lou Bailey, 60, of Big Cabin, reunited with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on May 18, 1962 in Hazard, Kentucky; the daughter of Willard and Sadie (Sawyer) Ritchie. She married the love of her life, David Bailey, on May 19, 1979, just a day after her 17th Birthday. They have celebrated 43 years of marriage. Mari worked in the home, tending to her husband and children, always making sure they were well taken care of. She loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening, camping, hiking, and working in the lawn. Mari also loved to ride four-wheelers and singing. She was a strong woman of faith and was a member of the Adair First Baptist Church in Adair. She enjoyed spending time with her 10 grandchildren, and looked forward to attending any event they were involved in. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and leaves behind many memories for her family to remember.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the Adair First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Wilson officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be Jackson Calvert, Brice Bailey, Derek Bailey, Zach Bailey, Braylon Bailey, and Lincoln Calvert. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. Mari is survived by her husband, David Bailey of the home; sons, Bruce Bailey and wife Jennifer of Big Cabin, Oklahoma, Matt Bailey and wife Emily of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Tommy Bailey of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Shauna Calvert and husband Matthew of Vinita, Oklahoma and Makiya Bailey of Big Cabin, Oklahoma; mother, Sadie Ritchie of Chouteau, Oklahoma;  brothers, Bill Ritchie of California and Chris Ritchie of Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Carol Baughman of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Shirley Crecelius of Pryor, Oklahoma, Jeanette Rogers of Knox, Indiana, Sharon McIntire and husband Dave of Knox, Indiana, Barb Fernandez and husband Raul of Cedar City, Utah, Sandy Binkley and husband Donny of Knox, Indiana, and Lisa Bottorff of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Willard Ritchie; brother, Charles Ritchie; sister, Pam Ritchie; and brothers in law, Tim Bottorff, Gene Rogers, John Baughman, and Paul Crecelius.
