Marilou England, 92, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Pryor. She was born on October 3, 1927; the daughter of Bert and Evelyn (Dunham) Thomas. Marilou worked for many years for the Indian Health Services as a Diabetic Clinic Clerk. She loved to arrange flowers, and competed in many competitions with her arrangements. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Claremore and was active in the Woman’s Club for Mayes County. Marilou was a loving and caring person who everyone loved to be around. She won an award for Compassion and also won a trip to Washington through her work.

Marilou is survived by her daughter, Joan McCarty of Pryor, Oklahoma; grandsons, Jason McCarty and wife Beverly and Jeffrey McCarty and wife Darla of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; great grandsons, Kaleb McCarty and wife Meagan of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Jake McCarty of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Evelyn Thomas; husbands, Gordon Brown and Mayes England; and brothers, Paul Thomas and Gene Thomas.
