Mark Edward Hall, 61, of Salina, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home. He was born on November 4, 1961 in Blackwell, Oklahoma; the son of Ed Hall and Linda Vann. Mark attended school in Newkirk, Oklahoma before serving in the United States Army. As an exceptional, disciplined private in the Army, he received skill awards and was even given the nickname “Super Trooper”. On March 21, 1991, Mark married the love of his life, Janet Lea Phelan. They were married for 32 years. Mark worked as a welder his entire adult life at various plants and shops across several industries. A talented fabricator and artist, Mark was an enthusiast for custom metal works, knives, guns and all things motorsports. He also enjoyed watching movies. Mark meticulously cared for his yard, was the entertainer at many family gatherings and would enjoy grilling at an occasional cookout for his closest family and friends. But, above all, he was a loving husband and father.
Mark is survived by his wife Janet Hall of the home; son, Bryce Hall and girlfriend Anna Wilkinson of Rogers, Arkansas; father, Ed Hall of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Debbie Fildes and husband Steve of Nowata, Oklahoma, Chris Hannah of Arkansas City, Kansas and Kelly Pritchett of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Vann, his grandparents and several relatives and friends.
