Marlow Vann Jones, age 95, passed away on July 5, 2026, in Catoosa, Oklahoma. He was born on June 25, 1931, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Logan Paul Jones and Maurine (Mustain) Jones.
Marlow lived a full life filled with faith, family, music, and hard work. He enjoyed playing the guitar, especially country and bluegrass music, and had a love for gospel singing. Over the years, he played in a band and shared his love of music with those around him. Marlow also enjoyed working with wood and remodeling houses, always keeping his hands busy and taking pride in his work.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended both the Pryor and Chouteau congregations. His faith was an important part of his life, and he will be remembered for the many ways he touched the lives of his family and friends.
Marlow is survived by his sons, Danny Jones and wife Connie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dwayne Jones and wife Julie of Chouteau, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Logan Paul and Maurine Jones; his beloved wife, Helen J. (Combs) Jones; his son, David Jones; his sisters, Mildred Jones, Rosetta Marquette, and Norma Sue Jones; and one granddaughter.
