Marsha Louise Gilpin, 74, of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at her home.
Marsha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, caregiver, and friend. A hardworking farmer’s wife, she was always on the go and rarely sat still. She believed in staying busy, caring for others, and making the most of the time she had with the people she loved.
Marsha had a true caregiver’s heart and found great purpose in taking care of those in need. Whether she was helping someone through a difficult time or simply lending a hand, caring for others came naturally to her.
She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Marsha especially enjoyed getting together to sing karaoke. She loved to sing and was blessed with a beautiful voice that brought joy to those around her.
Some of her family’s fondest memories will be of Marsha in the kitchen. She loved to bake, especially during the Christmas season, when she would make cookies and candy to share with family, friends, and neighbors. Giving to others was simply part of who she was.
Marsha was dearly loved, and the kindness, hard work, and love she gave so freely throughout her life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Gilpin, of the home; her son, Jeremy Gilpin and wife Kimberly of Pryor, Oklahoma; her daughters, Tammy Lee and Christopher Hassinger of Adair, Oklahoma, and Rachel Conseen and husband Bass of Owasso, Oklahoma; her sister, Mary Esterline and husband Jim of Adair, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dozier Warford and Emma (Backward) Warford; eight brothers; and two sisters.
