Livestream for Michael Oliver's Memorial Visitation

Michael "Mick" Oliver, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully in his home on February 20, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 70. Born on June 13, 1955, to Delford and Cornelia Oliver, Mick lived a life filled with hard work, joy, and a deep devotion to those he loved.

Mick was known as one of the hardest working men around, taking immense pride in his business and his ability to fix anything that came his way, Mick had the nickname “MacGyver”. Also, let’s be sure to mention how Mick was a walking map. Lost? Call Mick. No internet, no paper map, Mick’s mind was the map. He approached every challenge with determination, never stopping until the job was complete. His kindness and warmth were a magnet for friendship; Mick never met a stranger; he welcomed everyone with an open heart and a genuine smile.

Adventurous at heart, he loved the water – from fishing to tubing with family on his boat, those moments gliding through the waves will be forever cherished. And let us not forget his passion for Yahtzee, where friendly competition and laughter filled the air as he would cheer for every single player as they rolled, even when he was losing big. But above all, it was his love for his cherished wife, Kelly, that defined him. Mick was smitten – she was everything to him, his heart and companion through thick and thin. Together, they created a life rich in love and adventure, with Mick always striving to be the best husband and father he could be. He proudly embraced the role of "pawpaw," filling each day with warmth, fun, and the kind of love that makes memories sparkle. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, hugs that could mend the heaviest hearts, and an unshakeable bond with his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Kelly Oliver; his daughters, Michelle, Rebecca, and Sarah; his sons, Preston and Michael; his brother, Dennis; eight cherished grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Delford and Cornelia Oliver and his son, Casey.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor, Oklahoma on March 20, 2026 at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has provided an option for those who wish to contribute toward funeral expenses. If you feel led to do so, please scan the QR code below.

Mick will forever be remembered for the love he shared and the warmth he brought into the lives of his family, friends, and customers. He will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for his unwavering love, his big hugs, his ability to light up any room and his ability to forgive and literally forget.

Until we meet again, dear Micky Poo, may you fish in the tranquil waters of eternity.
