Michiel Luke White

Michiel Luke White, 72, of Inola, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on May 27, 1950 in Inola, Oklahoma; the son of Luke and Carrie (Conder) White. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army Reserves. Michiel married Connie Welch on October 11, 1972 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and they had celebrated 41 years of marriage until her passing in 2014. He was a member of the Midway Full Gospel Church. He worked for many years with heavy equipment and enjoyed helping others with projects around their homes with his dozer. Michiel looked forward to shooting guns and target shooting. He never would turn down the opportunity to go with his grandchildren to try a restaurant. He also enjoyed his down time, sitting in his chair and watching a good western movie. Michiel loved to laugh and have a good time. He was a loving Christian man who will always be lovingly remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023 in the Trinity Holiness Assembly of God in Owasso with Brother Carl Parson and Brother Lonnie Duckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Sweeten Cemetery in Inola with Shayne Lawson, Brad Parson, Todd Thompson, Aaron Mollett, Ron Debusk, Josh White, Lee Cotton ad Josh White, Jr. serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Michiel White, Jr., Eugene Renfro, Rob Cook. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. Michiel is survived by his sons, Josh White and wife Jennifer of Claremore, Oklahoma and Michiel White, Jr. and wife Reeanna of Inola, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Josh White, Jr., Jordan White, Harley White, Laramie White, and Jackson Craig; and many other relative and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie White; parents, Luke and Carrie White; grandson, Luke White; and sisters, Betty Dyer and Susie Kelley.
