Coleen Bunn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, peacefully passed on December 28, 2023, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She was born on August 23, 1946, in Trenton, Missouri to Ernest Leroy Allison and Rosalee (Brown) Allison.

Coleen lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family. She married the love of her life, Richard Bunn, and they created a beautiful life together. Their bond was unbreakable and brought immeasurable joy to both of their lives.

Before her illness arose, Coleen found great pleasure in various hobbies and interests. Gardening allowed her to nurture and cultivate the beauty of nature while cooking provided an avenue for creativity and nourishment. Coleen also had a passion for traveling and exploring new places, creating lasting memories along the way.

Coleen is survived by her children, Barbara Allison Arnold and husband John of Bartlesville, OK, Brenda Jones and husband Steve of Tahlequah, OK, Glenda Taylor of Mineral Springs, TX, and Norman Taylor and partner Tammy Stonebrook of Kingman, AZ; stepdaughter, Karen Wright and husband David of Arkansas; stepson Roger Bunn and wife Candy of Kansas; her twin brother Melvin Allison of Pryor, OK, brother Ron Allison and wife Stephanie of Fort Worth, TX; brother Marvin Allison and wife Kathy of Pryor, OK; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Coleen is preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years, Richard Bunn; parents Ernest Leroy and Rosalee (Brown) Allison; sister, Lucetta Sneed; and granddaughter Stacie Gudenkauf.

A memorial service in honor of Coleen will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Pryor, Oklahoma, beginning at 1:00 p.m. To leave her family a personal message, please visit her guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com.
