Mildred Arlene Rowe

Mildred Arlene Rowe, 81, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Pryor. She was born on May 10, 1941 in Englewood, Colorado; the daughter of Rayburn and Louise (McGraw) Frye. Mildred worked as a cashier in Sales most of her life. She was very sociable and loved to visit with friends and family and especially enjoyed going to the Pryor Senior Center. She enjoyed collecting chicken and rooster figurines and taking drives to look at nature and trees that she would pass by on her travels. She loved her Lord and looked forward to going to church at Ignite Pryor, and above all loved her family and grandchildren. She was a loving Christian woman who leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor with Pastor Dennis Nance officiating. Honorary casket bearers will be her grandchildren Micah Due, Noah Due, Aaron Due, Jacob Richards, Andrew Caskey, Kaleb Quinn, Brett Rowe, and David Sutter. Mildred is survived by her sons, Andy Frye of Pryor, Oklahoma and Matthew Rowe and wife Melissa of Leach, Oklahoma; daughter, Elisabeth Due and husband James of Muskogee, Oklahoma; brother, Charlie Frye and wife Jeanette of Denver, Colorado; sister, Dorothy Ham and husband Jim of Texas and Louise Frye of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn and Louise Frye; son, Robert Rowe; 7 siblings; and daughter-in-law, Robbie Frye.
