Patricia "Pat" Cook

Patricia Joan Cook, 80, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Pryor. She was born on April 8, 1939 in Boatman, Oklahoma; the daughter of Collie and Genelene (Sharp) Dodson. She worked at Thomas’s Restaurant in Pryor for many years. Pat loved to crochet and sew. She also enjoyed baking and cooking. Pat loved her grandchildren and looked forward to spending time with her family each moment she had. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bobby Belew officiating. Burial will follow in the Bryan Chapel Cemetery in Boatman with Johnny Cook, Ronnie Cook, Tony Cook, Bobby Cook, and Michael Faw Faw serving as casket bearers.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pat is survived by her sons, Johnny Cook and wife Melissa of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Ronnie Cook and wife Vicki of Perry, Oklahoma, Tony Cook of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Bobby Cook and wife Tara of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughter, Stacy Sisemore and husband Will of Adair, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, Skylar, Carlie, Raye, Maddy, Alivia, Audrey, and Addy; 5 great grandchildren, Rhett, Ethan, Genna, Tayten, and McKoy. She is preceded in death by her parents, Collie and Genelene Sharp, and husband, Earl “Cotton Cook, and three brothers, Larry, Jerry and Elmer Dodson.
