Ralph Polone

September 12, 1934 — July 14, 2020

Ralph W. Polone, 85, of Pryor, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. He was born on September 12, 1934 in Pryor, Oklahoma; the son of John Floyd and Irene Ellen (Russell) Polone. Ralph married the love of his life, Margaret Bowlin, on June 18, 1955 in Pryor. They spent 64 years together until her passing in 2019. They had three daughters; Marla, Cheryl, and Lori. Ralph was a hard-working man, keeping up with his ranch from sunrise to sunset. He always made sure all of the jobs on the ranch were complete. Ralph was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church, he taught Sunday School, and served as a Gideon there. Ralph enjoyed going to eat breakfast at East Side Café in the mornings and having lunch with his friends at the Senior Citizens Center. Throughout his life, he worked at the Allred Theater in Pryor as a projectionist, National Gypsom, and worked as an Independent Contractor and Excavator. He dearly loved his family; his grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Pastor David Rumsey officiating.
