Roberta Geneva Hines, age 99 and a longtime resident of Chouteau, Oklahoma, passed away from this life December 11, 2023, at her home.
Roberta was born April 4, 1924, at Purcell, Oklahoma to William Jordan and Hattie Gallant Jordan. She is survived by her favorite niece, Wynema Merrell of Konawa, and a special son, Jeff Trantham and his wife, Amber, and sons, Travis and Logan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed country dance and music. She also enjoyed watching her great nieces, Denema Merrell and Lorie Merrell Patterson team rope.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers and sisters.
