Roberta Lee Smoke-Hair

Roberta (Beta) Lee Hair, 74, of Kenwood, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, May 08, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born December 19, 1951, in Kenwood, Oklahoma; the daughter of Willie Smoke and Annie (Wolf) Smoke. She married John Rudolph Hair who preceded her in death on January 09, 2021. Beta (Bee-Ta) had not just love for the LORD, but for her family, community and people. She served on the GiDuWa Tribal Council for several years. She also attended many churches and revivals in and out of state. She would also have Church at her home. She loved to feed others and bring people together. She would have food, clothes, toys, etc., brought to her home for anyone in need. She also wasn't afraid to ask for help, or for something you were wearing that interested her. Her smile, her voice, her presence will be missed, but her memory will continue in our hearts and mind.

Roberta (Beta) is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Annie Smoke; her husband, John Hair; son, Kelly Smoke; brothers, Johnny Smoke, Leonard Smoke and Louis Smoke; sisters, Nellie Jane Boney, Louise Sullateskee and Ella Mae Jumper. Roberta Hair is survived by her son, Joe Hair; adopted sons, Shannon Horton and wife Linda Jo Horton, and Eric Glaudé and wife Aimee; brother, Charles Smoke and wife Betty; adopted brother, Don and wife Rita Stags; adopted sister, Cynthia Macomson; grandchildren, Summer Barrett, Kristen, Josh, Jacob and Sarah Smoke (Kelly's); Tyanna, Leah and husband Austin Worley, Samuel and Annie Hair (Joes); Gabriel Horton (Shannon's); Eric III, MeLi and ELaNi Glaudé (Eric's); 12 great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Roberta Hair had touched the hearts of many. She's forever loved, never forgotten. In the hands of Jesus, she Rest.

Funeral services for Beta will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025, at Euwasha Baptist Church with Reverend Richard Budder officiating. Interment will follow in the Euwasha Cemetery with Devin Jumper, Vincent Kirby, Donivan Jumper, Roosevelt Mora, Blade Vincent, Michael Lemmings, and Eric Glaudé serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers include Russell Smoke and Maurice Smoke. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
