Rodney Cecil Lee, born on April 23, 1966, in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 28, 2025, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit of encouragement, particularly toward the children he worked with at Thunderbird. Known for his big heart, Rodney made it his mission to support those around him with kind words and actions, never meeting a stranger along the way.
Rodney was passionate about horses and found joy in his vocation, where he devoted his time to nurturing and uplifting young people. His dedication extended beyond his work, as he selflessly volunteered to cook breakfast and dinners at Northside Church, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. Nature was also close to his heart; he cherished spending time outdoors, visiting the creek, and taking trips to Lake Erie with his sister, Rhonda, during their childhood.
In addition to his love for the outdoors and children, Rodney had a unique passion for collecting gnomes, reflecting his whimsical personality. He treasured his relationships with family, especially his nieces and nephews, relishing the moments spent with them.
Rodney is survived by his sister, Rhonda Wannall and husband Keith of Chouteau, OK; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and two great great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cilven and Eleanor (Bleigh) Lee.
