Ronald Jones

Ronald “Dale” Jones, 79, of Pryor, departed from this life on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Salina. He was born on February 19, 1941 in Muskogee; the son of Hobart Jones and Jessie (McIlvain) Jones. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also loved to go bowling with his friends. Dale was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church events and activities. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services for Dale will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021 at Citizens Cemetery with Reverend Andy Pilant and Reverend Brad Snell officiating. Dale is survived by his son, Ron Jones and wife Belinda of Pryor; brother, Mike Jones and wife Phyllis of Porter; sister, Sue Davis of Porter, Linda Dickey of Porter, and Judy Richardson of Okema; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Jessie; wife, Glennice; daughter, Carrie Austin; and great grandson, Levi Fisher.
