Ronald Wayne Sherman, 74, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on February 18, 1952, in Mulberry, Arkansas to John Sherman and Snoe Bell (White) Sherman. Ronald dedicated many years of his life to his work as a welder, retiring from Claude Federal Neon. He took pride in working with his hands and carried that same dedication into his everyday life. He found joy in the simple things — hunting and fishing, tending to his garden, and keeping his yard just the way he liked it. He was known for firing up the grill and bringing his family together, especially over hamburgers and good conversation. Ron enjoyed attending Big Cabin Christian Church and being around his church family. On February 21, 2003, Ronald married the love of his life, Carol Hudson, in Kona, Hawaii. Together, they shared a love for travel, often returning to Hawaii and visiting Jamaica, creating lasting memories along the way.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Carol Sherman of the home; his son, Don Sherman of Palestine, Texas; his daughter, Tracy Greene and husband Duane of Palestine, Texas; his sister, Janice Mills and husband Tony of Alma, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Chris Ducker, Nathan Ducker, and Savannah Sherman (Niko) ; three great-grandchildren, Cali Ducker, Alexis Aldredge, and Colin Ducker; numerous nieces and nephews; Ron is also survived by many loving family members on Carol’s side of the family; along with many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
