Ronna Kay Teague, born on February 21, 1967, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, left this world on August 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and harmony that will long be remembered by family and friends. Ronna dedicated herself as a devoted homemaker, pouring her heart into creating a warm and nurturing environment for those she cherished most. Her home was a sanctuary of laughter, love, and joy. She had a special talent for bringing people together, whether through the warmth of her kitchen or the melodies she shared at her beloved Revelation Church. As a passionate member of the church, Ronna led music and sang beautiful solos that touched the hearts of many, spreading joy and faith through her powerful voice. She was not only an exceptional vocalist but also a playful spirit. Ronna delighted in playing video games with her family, enjoying the precious moments spent together, wrapped in laughter and friendly competition. Her easy-going nature made her a joy to be around, and her presence brightened any gathering. On March 19, 2023, in the loving embrace of Salina, Oklahoma, Ronna married Lonnie Teague, marking the beginning of a cherished chapter in their lives. Their union was one of love, companionship, and mutual support, a testament to her belief in the power of love and commitment. Ronna's love for her family was boundless, and they were the center of her universe. She nurtured every relationship with care, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Although Ronna's time on this earth has come to an end, the memories of her laughter, her songs, and her unwavering love will resonate across the years.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor with Pastor Albert Wofford officiating. Ronna is survived by her husband, Lonnie Teague of the home; sons, Robert Melton and wife Cheyenne of Disney, Oklahoma and Keith Melton of Bristow, Oklahoma; daughters, Amber Harrison and husband Devon of Bristow, Oklahoma and Rosie Melton of Bristow, Oklahoma; father, Kenneth Moss of Claremore, Oklahoma; stepdaughters, Lindsey Sire of Perkins, Oklahoma, Holli Simmons of Miami, Oklahoma, Tiffaney Teague of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Courtney Teague of Pryor, Oklahoma; twin sister, Donna Doty and husband Kevin of Springfield, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Hayzleigh and Huxley Melton; mother in law, Betty Austin of Pryor, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Moss.
