Ruby Anne Shipman

Ruby Anne Shipman, 71, a loving soul with a heart full of kindness and joy, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 15, 1952, in Needles, California. Ruby was known for her vibrant personality and her love for driving and visiting friends. Her passion for crocheting, creating beautiful quilts and doilies brought warmth to many hearts. Ruby found enjoyment in watching any Elvis movie and the television series Heartland. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her laughter and unwavering love. Ruby's presence brightened every room she entered, and her memory will forever be cherished by those who were lucky enough to have known her.

She is survived by her beloved family, including her children, John Donnersbach and wife Caite of Strang, Oklahoma and Janet Lish of Skiatook, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, William, Charles, Destiny, Cassie, Tamra, Corey, Kyle, and Kevin; many great grandchildren; sister, Betty Jean Martin of Wisconsin; niece and nephew, Richard and Sarah; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mavice Shipman. Ruby's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through all those she left behind.

A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Ruby's life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Disney Assembly of God in Disney, Oklahoma.
