Sandera McAnally

August 31, 1945 — March 23, 2022

Sandera Fay (Casey) McAnally, passed away at her home in rural Mayes County on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 after a long battle with heart disease and cancer. Sandera was born on August 31, 1945 in Pryor to Jeff and June Casey. She grew up in Pryor and Adair, graduating from Adair High School in 1963. She was employed by Moots Hospital, Claremore Hospital, Kimberely Home Health and the Adair Donut Shop. She loved cooking and was very good at it. She loved to cook Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for her family. Most important to her was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved every minute she could spend with her great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Church of Christ in Pryor with Brother D.J. She is survived by her husband Alan of almost 58 years of the home; sons, Bruce McAnally and wife Darcie of Loveland, Colorado, and Brett and Dana McAnally of Loveland, Colorado; grandchildren, Aaron McAnally and wife Andrea of Loveland, Colorado, Niecce McAnally of Pryor and Caitlin McAnally of Pryor; great grandchildren, Nataly McAnally, McKinzie McAnally, Blake Allen and Levi McAnally; brother, Doug Casey of Pryor; step-brother, Harold Bible of Salina; sisters, Pat Stafford of Pryor, Linda Combs of Amarillo, Texas; step-sister, Francis Pritchett of Adair; very special nieces, Jamie Morrison, Iley Casey, Tonya Stafford, Sherri Madole, and Deana McCloud; and several nephews, along with a host of many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Casey, her mother and step-father, June and Everett Bible; sisters, Betty Stafford and Carroll Hall; brother, Jim Casey; son, Brian McAnally and grandson, Blake Logan Gilbert. The McAnally Family would like to extend a very special thank you to Barbara Rice, Justin and Jennifer Richardson, the Feeling Family, the Diamond Head Lone Chapel Fire Department, the Pryor Church of Christ and its members, Sam Casey, Joan Littlefield, Teka Van-Marter, Jamie Morrison, Iley Casey, and ViaLife Hospice. Kara and Becca, you two are the greatest.
