Sandra Jean Kirk, age 77, passed away on July 31, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on August 23, 1948, in Spencer, Iowa, to Russell and Etla (Sorenson) Morfitt.

Sandra was a woman who found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of life. She loved spending time with her family, attending garage sales, and preparing meals for those she loved. She was especially known for her famous meatballs, a family favorite that will be fondly remembered for years to come. Sandra also enjoyed watching The Andy Griffith Show and Little House on the Prairie, and she faithfully attended Cowboy Gathering Church in Inola. She cherished watching and attending the rodeos in which her son participated, proudly supporting him every chance she had.

Above all, Sandra's greatest treasure was her family. She leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Sandra is lovingly survived by her son, Kenny Kirk and wife Jamie, of Salina, Oklahoma; her brothers, Freddy Morfitt and wife Maryann, of Spencer, Iowa, Mike Morfitt, of Spencer, Iowa, and Bobby Morfitt and wife Barbara, of Florida; her sisters, Karen Saakville, of Spencer, Iowa, and Susie Farchild, of Spirit Lake, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jesse Kirk, Morgan Kirk, and Hunter Kirk; her step-grandchildren, Butler Hignite and Kinley Hignite; and her great-granddaughter, Josie Kirk, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Kirk, her parents, Russell and Etla (Sorenson) Morfitt, and her brother, Billie Morfitt.

A visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shipman's Funeral Home, 1204 N.E. 1st Street, Pryor, Oklahoma 74361. Funeral services will be held the following day, Friday, August 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Exciting Southeast Baptist Church, 432 E. 530 Road, Pryor, Oklahoma 74361, with Pastor Rob Pierce officiating.

Sandra will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering love for her family, generous spirit, and the countless memories she created around the dinner table and at family gatherings. Her legacy of love will continue through those whose lives she touched.
