Sandra Osborne

March 9, 1956 — January 6, 2021

Sandra Gayle Osborne passed away surrounded by her family on January 6, at 5:45 a.m. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on March 9, 1956 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Sandra was known by her grandchildren as Gonge and wore the title with pride and enormous love. She was a kind, loving, caring and generous person who was always making sure you had enough food, gas or as she would call it “Mad Money.” Sandra loved a bargain and enjoyed couponing, refunding and saving money wherever she could and helping her friends learn how to save money as well. She loved cats, she loved seeing new places and traveling with family. Sandra went to school to become a nurse and graduated as an LPN. She became a Jehovah’s Witness and got baptized along side her husband of 40 years and served as a faithful minister until her death, always sharing her faith to those she met. She held on to her faith knowing she will soon see her loved ones in paradise.

The family will be holding a memorial and will be shared via Zoom at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, January 11, 2021. See Zoom ID below. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Bithiah Marler and husband Chris of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; sister, Billene Zumstein of Claremore, Oklahoma; brother, Bert Wallace and wife Marsha of Eucha, Oklahoma; grandchildren; Kyle Vernon of Claremore, Oklahoma, Makalyn Osborne of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Christyn Marler of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; nephew, Evan Zumstein of Tulsa, Oklahoma; niece, Macy Hightower and husband Kyle of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends.
