Sarah Pepper

Sarah Margaret Pepper, 88, of Pryor, passed from this life on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on December 21, 1932 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; the daughter of G.O. Sears and Mary (LeClaire) Sears. Sarah worked for many years as a nurse at Jane Phillips Hospital and Grand Valley Hospital. After retiring, she volunteered as a Pink Lady at the hospital in Pryor. She enjoyed mowing her yard, keeping her house spotless, and spending the holidays with her family. Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother who leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Memorial services for Sarah will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Shipman's Funeral Home with Jeremy Vargas officiating. Sarah is survived by her sons, Frank Vargas, Jr. and wife Mildred and Anthony Vargas and wife Cheryl; daughters, Mary Vargas and Terrie Hollis, all of Pryor; 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, G.O. and Mary; brother, Jerry Sears; and daughter, Frannie Kavanaugh.
