Shane Michael Montgomery

Shane Michael Montgomery, 42, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, in Pryor. He was born on December 3, 1983, to Lloyd Montgomery and Kitty Sue (Pipkin) Montgomery.

Shane worked as a painter for KASKA, LLC for many years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He married Deanna (Taylor) Montgomery, and together they built a life centered around family.

Shane enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking, riding motorcycles, and spending time at his family home, affectionately known as "The Creek," where countless memories were made with those he loved. He was a loving man with a heart of gold who would do anything for anyone. Above all else, he loved his family. His greatest pride and joy were his sons, who meant everything to him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Montgomery of the home; his sons, Shane Montgomery and Orion Montgomery, both of the home; his brothers, Peter Montgomery of Salina and Trevor Montgomery; his sisters, Kandy Montgomery and Stephanie Maxton and her husband, William, of Columbus, Kansas; along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many friends who will cherish his memory.

A Memorial service for Shane Montgomery will be Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Shipman's Funeral Home and Cremation Services located at 1204 NE 1st St. Pryor, Oklahoma 74361.
