Shannon Mace

Shannon Mace, 38, of Locust Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 in Tulsa. She was born on July 2, 1981 in Tulsa; the daughter of Dennis Sr., and Leona (Stealer) Bendabout. Shannon married Jason Mace on November 23, 2002 in Salina and have celebrated 17 years of marriage. She worked as a Store Manager for the Dollar Tree in both Pryor and Wagoner. Shannon loved to read, coupon, and to go camping. She also enjoyed tattoos. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and daughter who leave behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Choogie Kingfisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Bill Batt Cemetery with Jason Mace, Dennis Bendabout, Jr., Erick Kingfisher, Dennis Bendabout III, Choogie Kingfisher, and Mike Stealer serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Drake Bendabout, Clyde Mace, and Bryan Fagg. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Shannon is survived by her husband, Jason Mace of the home; daughters, Codi Watson and husband Jacob of Alexandria, Virginia and Virginia Mace of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; brothers, Dennis Bendabout, Jr. and wife Mary of Kenwood, Oklahoma and Erick Kingfisher of Wright, Wyoming; sister, Traci Kingfisher and husband Choogie of Peggs, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Bendabout, Sr., and her brother, Derek Kingfisher.
