Shawn Paul Woodson, 48, of Claremore, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, in Tahlequah. He was born on February 6, 1973, in Claremore, Oklahoma; the son of Donnie and Sammie Woodson.  Shawn was an avid OU Football fan. He loved to golf, fish, and spend time with his family. Shawn attended Grace Life Church and was a man of God. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle who leaves us much too soon and will never be forgotten.

Funeral services for Shawn will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2022, at Grace Life Church with Reverend Derek Melton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with Garrett Woodson, John Woodson, Jeremy Hill, Nathan Adrian, Josh Adrian, and Tyler Woodson serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Logan Baker, John Mitchell Woodson, Gunnar Hill, and Chris Martin. Shawn is survived by his wife, Leona, of the home; mother, Sammie Woodson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; sons, Nathan Adrian of Claremore, Oklahoma and Josh Adrian of Norman, Oklahoma; brothers, Garrett Woodson and wife Haley of Tuttle, Oklahoma and John Woodson and wife Angie of Claremore, Oklahoma; sisters, Charlotte Davis and husband Tommy of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; nieces, Jennifer Friend, Ashlee Davis, Breanna Baker, Lesley and Jason Shelton, Casey Dee, and Adrienne Woodson; nephews, Tyler Woodson, Jeremy Hill, John Woodson, Logan Baker, and Joel Baker; and numerous great nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Donnie; and sisters, Rhonda Swinney and Dawn Woodson.
