Shawna Michelle (Rainwater) Beck

Shawna Michelle (Rainwater) Beck, 41, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on November 7, 1980 in Claremore; the daughter of Anthony and Cindy (Walden) Rainwater. Shawna attended and graduated from Pryor High School. She worked for several years at Elliott Medical Plaza and was a Pom coach at Pryor High School. Makeup was her talent and her true passion. Shawna studied professional makeup artistry at Complexions MakeUp School in Toronto, Canada. She was proud to have worked on numerous commercials, movies, fashion shows, and photo shoots, as well as several weddings in Oklahoma and for a short time, in Los Angeles, California. Shawna enjoyed and loved her family and was especially proud of her daughter, Ryan. She leaves us much too soon and will be remembered by her bright smile and loving personality.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25, 2022 in the North Elliott Church of God in Pryor with Pastor Robert Killman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Chapel Cemetery with Sean LaValley, Jack Rainwater, Jeff Kerr, Travis Noland, Michael Noland, and Jeremy Noland serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Brandon LaValley, Mark Walden, and Zhawn Ragge’. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Shawna is survived by her daughter, Ryan Beck of the home; parents, Anthony and Cindy (Walden) Rainwater of Pryor, Oklahoma; sister, Traci and Zhawn Ragge’ of Catoosa, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Betty Walden of Claremore, Oklahoma; paternal grandfather; Glen Rainwater of Pryor, Oklahoma; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her uncle, Marlan Rainwater of Salina, Oklahoma; maternal grandfather, Carl Walden of Chelsea, Oklahoma; and paternal grandmother, Mickie Rainwater of Pryor, Oklahoma.
