Steven Phillips

August 27, 1957 — July 15, 2019

Steven Joe Phillips was born on August 27, 1957 to Joe Howard Phillips and Nancy Buckskin in Borger, Texas.  He departed his life on July 15, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Steven married Donna England on June 28, 1981.  He went to work Kimberley Clark as the logistics coordinator for several years.  He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kenwood.

He enjoyed fishing, traveling and coaching basketball.  He also loved watching boxing and OU football.  More than anything, he loved spending time with his family.  Steven was a wonderful husband, father and friend and he will deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Phillips, of the home; his mother, Nancy Buckskin of Salina; one son, Timothy Phillips of Pryor; daughter, Nicole Ballou and husband Trent of Pryor; brother, Dennis Phillips and wife Carla of Salina; sisters, Doris Kirby and husband Steve of Salina, Tyra Buckskin of Salina and one grandson, Emmett Ballou.

He is preceded in death by his infant son, Stephen Phillips; his father, Joe Howard Phillips; one brother, DeWayne Phillips; one sister, Sherry Phillips and one nephew, Ryan Phillips.
