Terrell Bennett Brown, born on September 1, 1952, in Camden, Arkansas, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was a devoted family man, a dedicated serviceman, and a passionate outdoorsman. Terrell proudly served in the United States Army and with the 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma National Guard. Over his more than 30 years of service, he was designated as a sharpshooter and he retired as a recruiter. He continued serving through the National Guard’s Thunderbird Youth Challenge Program, demonstrating dedication and commitment to his country and those who served alongside him. Terrell’s love for the outdoors was evident throughout his life. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and hiking. He also cherished moments spent playing video games with his son. Additionally, he was an enthusiastic fan of Oklahoma State football.
He is survived by his sons, Nathan Brown and wife Miranda of Pryor, Oklahoma, and James Brown and wife Amber of Grove, Oklahoma; and his daughter, Robin Lee and husband Michael of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Terrell’s family includes his sisters, Donna Blackstock of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Barbara Forbis and husband Clif of Rowlett, Texas. He also leaves behind loving grandchildren: Kurt Hatch, Isabella Olsen, Issan Stech, Lilith Stech, Araia Sixtos, Izabelle Brown, Reave Rhoades, Cassie Brown, Axel Brown, Raven Brown, and Benjamin Crittenden. Among his extended family are nephews Brian Blackstock and wife Erica, and Mason Forbis, along with niece Sydney Forbis, and extended family.
Terrell was preceded in death by his parents, George and Freda "Arlene" (Shaw) Brown.
Terrell's life was marked by service, family, and a genuine love for the world around him. He will be remembered with respect and affection by all who knew him.
