Thomas Procter

Thomas Earl Procter of Adair, Oklahoma, passed away on October 19, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63. Thomas was the son of James Lewis Maxine Elaine (Compton) Procter. He was a lifelong resident of Adair and graduated from Adair High School in 1965. He then attended college at the University of Tulsa. He and Marcia Peckenpaugh were married in October of 1980 in Miami, OK. Thomas was a farmer. His hobbies included playing bingo, cooking, and watching football. He was a member of the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church of Adair. The family will receive visitors on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. till 5 p.m. at the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Thomas leaves behind his wife Marcia of the home; 2-Sons; Bryan Marissa Procter of Del City, OK, Dee Schenista Procter of Adair, OK; 3-Step-daughters; Dollie Peckenpaugh of Wagoner, OK, Belinda Jarrod Matthews of Ketchum, OK, Destinie Peckenpaugh of Wagoner, OK, 1-Step-Son; Tommie Peckenpaugh of Kansas City, MO; 3-Grandchildren, Carter Procter, James Procter, Josiah Procter; 6-Step-Grandchildren: Mallory Matthews, Laylah Matthews, Raina Matthews, Casie Peckenpaugh, Jazlyn Peckenpaugh, Freeman Peckenpaugh. Many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lewis Procter in 2010.
