Tommy Leon Dillard, 77, of Claremore, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was born on September 12, 1943 in San Jose, California; the son of Ernest Monroe and Clara Mae (King) Dillard. Tommy married the love of his life, Mary Lou Klopfenstein on June 22, 1963 in Miami, Florida and have celebrated over 57 wonderful years together. Tommy had a heart for people and was an evangelist, traveling all over the United States and abroad sharing God’s word through his ministry and was also a Pastor for 40 years. He truly loved fellowship and visiting with anyone and everyone he came in contact with. Tommy enjoyed reading the Bible and studying scripture. Tommy played the guitar and enjoyed spending time with family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 28, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bryce Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery with Gabe Dillard, Zane Ragland, Asher Ragland, Rain Ragland, Caleb Campbell, Philip Ragland serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Chuck Klopfenstein, Harold Klopfenstein, Gene Dillard, and Brad Campbell. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 27, 2020 in the Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service. Tommy is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Dillard of the home; son, Joe Dillard and wife Carrie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, daughters, Jeannine Ragland of Claremore, Oklahoma and Rebekah R. Campbell and husband Brad of Beaufort, South Carolina; brother, Gene Dillard and wife Sheila of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Joseph Ragland and wife Lacy, Philip Ragland and wife Brandi, Abigail Ragland, Emma Dillard, Gabe Dillard, Libby Dillard, Grace Campbell, and Caleb Campbell and wife Joy; great grandchildren, Asher Ragland, Rain Ragland, Kross Ragland, Ella Ragland, Sadie Ragland, Zane Ragland, and Lucas Ragland; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Clara Mae Dillard and infant brother.
