Wanda Louise Chancellor, 85, of Salina, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on January 28, 1937 in Kenwood, Oklahoma; the daughter of Osher “Pete” and Birdie (Crawford) Burns. She married Norman Chancellor on December 12, 1957 and celebrated many wonderful years together until his passing. Wanda owned and operated Blue Hole Park for 47 years and always was proud to keep it a wholesome place for families to visit. Her favorite days were spent sitting on the porch of the concession stand getting to visit with the friends of Blue Hole Park and family. She was known by many names to all those who knew and loved her, Nan, Bubby, Wanda, Bub, whatever you knew her by, you can be assured she would always remember yours. She had a group of friends that she always looked forward to traveling with, taking mini trips to Branson and going out to eat. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She is also remembered by her big hugs, whether you needed one or not, you would get a hug from Wanda. She loved to brighten the day of the people around her and enjoyed spending time with those she loved most. She was a wonderful mother, Nan, sister, and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
