Wesley Ray Kirby, a beloved family member, was born on October 30, 1969, in Visalia, California. He departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, adventure, and cherished memories.
Wesley devoted over 20 years of his career to the Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation, and later contributed his dedication to American Castings. His commitment to his work was evident in the quality of his contributions to the industry.
Outside of his career, Wesley was a man of varied interests and talents. He was an accomplished sharpshooter, earning multiple awards that reflected his skill. His adventurous spirit drew him to the great outdoors, where he particularly enjoyed fishing. Wesley was a history enthusiast, with a particular fascination for the life and exploits of Jesse James, often found engaging with documentaries on the History Channel.
He enjoyed cooking and cherished the opportunity to gather around the table with family and friends.
Wesley is survived by his son, A.J. Kirby of Missouri; brothers, Ronnie Kirby and wife Jenny of Broken Arrow, OK, and Justin Kirby of Colcord, OK; sisters, Teresa Wofford of Tulsa, OK, and Christine McClure and husband Ben of Spring, TX; and a special cousin, Mack Angus Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Patty Sue (Davis) Kirby.
